Gabrielle studied violin at Dartington College under Colin Soar. On graduating she played in a chamber orchestra in Israel before returning to her home town of Cambridge where she has been playing and teaching ever since. She was leader of the Tamarind Quartet and she is co-leader of the Sinfonia of Cambridge.  She has performed as soloist on several occasions, most notably in Vaughan Williams’s ‘The Lark Ascending’, which she performed recently with the K239 Chamber Orchestra in Cambridge.

She is also now a regular performer at Musique Cordiale - a music festival in Provence, France. Gabrielle has been with the Sensky Trio for more than ten years.
